Terroir of Vinsobres

Domaine Jaume lies on two of the four Cru de Vinsobres terroirs: Coteau and Collines.

Coteau has clayey limestone soils of irregular stoniness on a bedrock of limestone strata of varying depths. Average altitude of 820 feet.

Collines is an up-and-down terroir crossed by two big coombes. Exposure is very important. The soils consist of equal parts of clay, loam and sand, with varying degrees of stoniness. The average altitude is 1150 feet and can reach 1540 on well-exposed parts.
